    Redemptor in Albania

    April 21 - May 05

This is a Taco group made up of Taco team members and a visiting drummer. The performance included music, dance, and drama

    Tour Highlights

Members from the TACO team traveled to Albania bringing music, dance, and the Gardener drama. In the city of Lushnje team members gave personal testimonies and when the invitation was given, not only did many pray along, they came up afterward to get more information and get connected with local believers. A highlight was getting to perform at the Tirana Women's Prison. When our local organiser invited people to pray with at the end, it was beautiful to hear the hushed voices of a few women repeating the prayer. What an amazing opportunity to share God's love and the hope found in Jesus.

    Face-to-Face in Turkey

    May 16 - May 22

Face-to-face use drama/puppets with local styled dance and music to tell Biblical stories pointing to the work of Christ in salvation. The portable nature, quick set-up and highly visual approach of this type of outreach allow it to draw large crowds quickly and be performed from seaside boardwalks to busy parks. Click here or here to see shows.

    Tour Highlights

The TACO team took the Gardener drama along with some music to cities in Western Turkey. Although audiences genuinely seem to enjoy the show and understand the aspects of the Creation story we tell which match up with an Islamic understanding, they struggle to understand the idea that God in human form entered our broken world offering us forgiveness and a second chance to regain paradise. We trust that some of the 200 or so Bible correspondence courses we gave out as well as many of the one-on-one conversations we had will bear fruit as God chips away at the prevailing worldview here.

    Jon Simpson in Turkey

    June 13 - June 20

Wherever the singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jon Simpson has been – and he’s been around the world – he has been an artist who gets to the emotional core of his subject matter.
Simpson’s creative melodic rock possesses a poignant resonance that is part plea for a better world, and part determined declaration to do something about it. Check out the Jon Simpson website.

    Tour Highlights

Bringing Jon Simpson's music together with a Turkish language drama is a one two punch of the gospel message. We were about to start a show when a policeman walked up. Someone had complained that we were on the grass. He said we could move anywhere, as long as it was off the grass. On the other side of the hill we quickly set up in an area with a big statue in the middle. On the grassy side we had an audience of about 100 people but within moments of moving our audience more than quadrupled. The thing Satan sent to discourage us, God used to reach out to hundreds more people.
